Ahsoka: Star Wars Reveals The Real Reason For Anakin's Finale Appearance
In an article breaking down the "Ahsoka" finale, the "Star Wars" website says that Anakin Skywalker's Force ghost appears as an indicator that Ahsoka is meant to be on Peridea.
Their official site reads, "The convor Morai and the Force spirit of Anakin Skywalker both appear to give Ahsoka Tano signs that she's exactly where she is supposed to be."
The idea makes sense, as his Force ghost also appeared at the end of "Return of the Jedi" as Luke Skywalker and his allies celebrated their victory over the Empire on Endor.
It's a clear indication to Luke that their victory is the proper outcome, and that Luke is who and where he should be at that point in time.
Conversely, in "The Force Awakens," Kylo Ren has been led astray by the dark side. He's not who and where he's supposed to be, so Anakin’s Force ghost does not appear.
