Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Book-to-Screen Adaptations, TV And Movie Character Astrology
  • Sylvia-Marah has seen every episode of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" more times than she can count and loves writing about possible reboots, the beloved original series, and anything vampire-related.
  • She loves doing deep dives on films based on true stories and discovering where fiction and fact diverge. She also enjoys writing about book-to-screen adaptations.
  • For Xoop, she explores the personalities, behaviors, and motivations of characters from film and television through an astrological lens.

In 2021, Sylvia-Marah began writing for Xoop, allowing her to explore her love of storytelling through film and television. Her familiarity with plot, character, story structure, and archetypes gives her insight into the mythic structure of both film and television. During her teen years, she honed her journalistic and photography skills while working as a writer and photography editor for her high school newspaper. In college, she studied creative writing, film, and photography. While working as an accomplished goldsmith, Sylvia-Marah started writing her first novel, became an active book blogger, and wrote essays that were featured in Elephant Journal.

Sylvia-Marah has a B.A. in modern literature from UCSC and a certificate in applied mythology from Pacifica Graduate Institute.
