  • Steven is the author of the VAMPIRES SUCK! series.
  • The TCM Classic Film Festival, San Diego Comic-Con, and the Cannes Film Festival are Steven's favorite events to cover.
  • Whether it's Dracula, Lestat de Lioncourt, or David Powers, Steven is obsessed with creatures of the night, and he's seen Tom Holland's "Fright Night" more times than most "Star Wars" fans have watched "The Empire Strikes Back."

Steven began his writing career in 2008. For eight years, Steven worked solely as an entertainment journalist covering press screenings, various conventions, and film festivals. In 2017, Steven published his first book, but he continued to share his love of fandom and geek culture through his journalistic prose. Today, Steven serves as a news writer for Xoop, and his articles have been featured by Entertainment Weekly, Rue Morgue Magazine, and Dread Central.

Steven graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communications focusing on film studies, journalism, and theatre. Following his undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Steven received his Master of Fine Arts in writing from Lindenwood University.
