Evan has been writing professionally ever since receiving an M.S. in Journalism from Colombia University in 2012. His journalism, interviews, and cultural commentary have appeared in People Magazine, Out Magazine, Mic, Ranker, Queerty, INTO, and Paste Magazine, whereas his short fiction and essays have been published by several notable literary magazines including the Santa Fe Writers Project. He has worked on both sides of the entertainment industry, even producing the acclaimed "Improvised Real Housewives Episode" in New York City until 2020.


After penning a column for the school paper during his time at Dartmouth College, Evan pounded pavement at the Columbia University School of Journalism in New York City.
