  • Always obsessed with pop culture, Calvin's usual activity as a kid was reading stacks of comic books and entertainment magazines from the public library.
  • For four years, he produced a weekly article series dedicated to underground DJs and musicians who reimagined popular tunes from TV shows, films, and anime.
  • His extreme dedication to Dragon Ball caused him to wear out his prized VHS copies of the original Z movies from watching them too much.

Calvin has been a professional reporter and writer for over a decade. He got his start in media working as an education reporter for the Millington Star in 2007. In 2011, Calvin began his pop culture reporting journey as a Senior Staff Writer for Population GO, covering anime, video games, films, and TV news. He later continued as a freelancer for CBR, producing feature list articles on DC and Marvel Comics, anime, manga, and video games.
